Tianyi Xiong (熊天翼)

Hi! I am Tianyi Xiong, a Ph.D. student at University of Maryland, College Park working with Heng Huang. My research interests lie in computer vision and multimodal foundation models, particularly in developing strong critic and reasoning capabilities, improving multimodal alignment, and advancing RL-based post-training methods.

[02/2025] LLaVA-Critic got accepted by CVPR 2025.

[09/2024] 🚀 Released LLaVA-Critic, the first open-source LMM as a general evaluator for assessing model performance across diverse multimodal scenarios.
